Guwahati: The Assam Police found the body of a missing teacher from his car near the Lumding Railway Station in the Hojai district on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Tapas Jyoti Medhi, a resident of Phulaguri village in Raha.
After receiving information, the police and family members of the deceased rushed to the spot.
According to sources, Medhi’s wife registered the complaint at the Raha Police Station about her husband missing since Saturday evening after he left his residence.
As per the complaint, he was on his way to Nagaon from his residence in his private vehicle.
Meanwhile, the reason of the death has not yet been ascertained.
