Flybig Connects Imphal with Guwahati via Tezu
Guwahati: Flybig, adding one more sector under Prime Minister Narendra Modi Government’s ambitious UDAN scheme on 26th September 2022 – Guwahati – Tezu – Imphal – Tezu – Guwahati, all days except Mondays.
Imphal, the cultural capital of Manipur is now getting directly connected to Tezu and Guwahati. This will now benefit travelers with reduced travel hours and make air travel economical with fares starting from Rs. 799.
While announcing the new sector, Sanjay Mandavia CMD flybig said, “We are supporting the vision of our Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi Ji of giving a major economic boost to hinterland regions of the nation.”
“In coming days we will connect Imphal to major cities in east and north east with direct connections. We are humbled to inform that we are continuing to keep our commitment of providing air connectivity in the Northeast region through Ude Desh ka aam Nagrik scheme,” he added saying.
The flybig started its operations in May 2021 with state-of-art ATR 72-500 & ATR 72-600 Aircraft which is one of the safest & reliable Aircraft for regional connectivity with comfortable cabin space.
The flybig operates 18 daily flights and is the only airline in India having Guwahati as its main hub, where it is connecting Guwahati to seven destinations which include Tezu, Pasighat, Rupsi, Agartala, Dibrugarh Kolkata and Patna.
Imphal is the ninth destination to be launched on 26th September 2022.
