Minor girl abducted from Assam rescued in Uttar Pradesh
In a major breakthrough, Assam Police rescued a minor girl from Uttar Pradesh who was abducted in Guwahati.
According to reports, she was kidnapped from Guwahati’s Rehabari and taken to UP.
Following this, the girl’s relatives filed a complaint with the Paltan Bazaar Police Station.
On Tuesday, a Paltan Bazaar police team headed to Uttar Pradesh.
The cops located the girl after beginning their search.
The minor girl had been kidnapped by a person identified as Ashok Kumar.
He has been arrested and is currently being questioned by police.
As per reports, the girl was a student in the seventh standard.
She is said to have connected with Ashok on the social networking site Instagram and then been lured and taken to Uttar Pradesh.
