Raju Srivastava, comedy king passes away at 58

Raju Srivastava, the king of comedy died in New Delhi today at the age of 58.

He suffered a heart attack while working out at the gym on August 10 following which he was admitted to AIIMS, Delhi.

As per reports, Srivastava suffered severe brain damage following his cardiac arrest and had been unconscious and under observation at AIIMS.

The comedian died today after a long fight.

Raju Srivastava leaves behind his wife, son, and daughter.

Condolences poured in from fans, and family members besides PM Modi and politicians as news about the comedian’s death surfaced.

Raju Srivastava was a well-known comedian who has appeared on numerous comedy shows on television, including The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, Comedy Circus, The Kapil Sharma Show, Shaktimaan, and others.

The comedian has also appeared in Bollywood films such as Maine Pyaar Kiya, Tezaab, Baazigar, and others.

He appeared as a special guest on India’s Laughter Champion recently.
