Assam: Prime Accused of Nagaon’s Woman Murder Case Arrested

Guwahati: The prime suspect in the murder of a woman at the Harijan Colony in Assam’s Nagaon district was arrested by police.

The arrested individual has been identified as Subrot Mazumdar.

The incident took place on Sunday when a woman identified as Rubi Dutta was brutally attacked to death by an assailant.

The victim was killed at her residence by the assailant.

According to sources, during the incident victim’s husband identified as Raju Dutta wasn’t present at home.

As per the family member, after receiving the information about the incident, they went to the spot and saw the victim’s bloodied body.
