A construction worker who accidentally fell into the Brahmaputra river in Guwahati on Tuesday morning has since missing.
Meanwhile, there are reports that the river’s water level is rising.
According to reports, the worker was employed at the Bharalumukh area construction site for the Guwahati-North Guwahati bridge.
As per reports, he tripped and fell into the river while being on one of the pillars as per reports.
The identity of the missing worker is yet to be disclosed by the officials.
Meawhile, rescue teams have been deployed to search for the missing worker.
