President of India Droupadi Murmu will visit Guwahati today as part of her two-day Assam visit.
The President will take part in a number of events.
The President will arrive at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati (LGBIA) at around 1 pm.
President Murmu will first attend an event and then head to IIT Guwahati in the afternoon, where she will inaugurate the Param Kamrupa supercomputer facility.
After that, she will fly to Dhubri to officially open the medical college there. She will next travel to Agyathuri to open the new railroad station.
Meanwhile, on her travels, President Murmu will be accompanied by the Governor of Assam Prof Jagdish Mukhi, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Union minister Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar.
