Assam: Man Mowed Down By Train In Dibrugarh’s Duliajan

Guwahati: A man was killed after being run over by a speeding train in Assam’s Dibrugarh district on Thursday.

The incident took place in Duliajan in the district, when the deceased was crossing the rail tracks, oblivious of the oncoming train.

As per sources, the deceased was en route to pick up his daughter from school.

The deceased has been identified as one Sanjit Gogoi.

Meanwhile, railway police immediately reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem.
