Cyber Fraudsters arrested in Assam’s Baksa
Two cybercriminals from Jharkhand were apprehended by Assam Police in Baksa district on Wednesday.
The arrested cybercriminals have been identified as Afzal Ansari and Akhtar Ansari.
The duo pretended to be bank officials and stole thousands of rupees in Salbari, are known.
As per reports, they siphoned off a sum amount of Rs. 1,02,000 from a person named Amrit Das.
Earlier in the month of September, a fraudster, identified as Navam, siphoned an amount of Rs. 16 Lakhs from the Punjab National Bank account of a retired college principal, Lalit Shyam.
