A woman has been arrested by the police in Imphal, Manipur with 142 grams of heroin.
The arrested woman drug peddler has been identified as Zarina Begum.
The heroin that was recovered from the woman were packed in 10 soap cases.
The woman had been selling the illegal drug for the previous two months, according to Manipur police.
She used to get the drugs in Imphal West district of Manipur from a woman in the Tengnoupal district and resell them to another woman.
The arrested woman and the drugs have already been handed to the Porompat police station in Manipur for further legal proceedings.
