Assam: Man dies of cardiac arrest while watching India-Pak T20 match in Sivasagar

Guwahati: A man died of cardiac arrest while watching the India-Pakistan T20 cricket match in Assam’s Sivasagar district on Sunday.

The incident took place when a man watching the match when suddenly went unconscious and fell down.

However, the deceased’s friends immediately taken him to the hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.

The deceased name was identified as Bitu Gogoi, 34.

As per sources, Gogoi suffered a cardiac arrest due to the extreme level of noise pollution that was created in the cinema hall during the cricket match.

“Gogoi was healthy and did not suffer from any health issues”, said family member.

Meanwhile, the district police has launched an investigation to look into the incident.

The body has been sent for post-mortem.
