In connection with the Thursday theft of condensate oil from an oil tanker close to the Bogibeel bridge, four people have been arrested in the Dibrugarh district of Assam.
Police reportedly seized 8,000 liters of stolen condensate oil from an oil tanker close to the bridge.
Arrested four individuals have been identified as Dipak Changmai, Tilak Dihingia, Rajen Dihingia (the driver), and Bhuban Bora (helper).
Before being intercepted, the tanker was reportedly moving from Naharani in the Sivasagar district to Dhemaji.
According to reports, the condensate oil was taken by interfering with the crude oil transportation pipelines owned by the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).
