Assam: Doctors arrested For presenting Fake Post-Mortem Report in Mangaldai

Three doctors from a hospital were arrested by Mangaldai police on Monday for allegedly giving a false post-mortem report.

Drs. Arun Deka, Anupam Sharma, and Ajanta Bordoloi have been named as the three people who have been arrested.

The hospital in question is Mangalai Civil Hospital.

According to sources, the trio presented a fictitious post-mortem report for a dead Adivasi woman.

While the signature should have been of the forensic department, it is learned that the medicine department had signed on the post-mortem report instead.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.
