Bhuragaon: The teachers and students of Laharighat Adarsha Markaz Academy in Morigaon district celebrated the Chiratun Nabi festival with great pomp and ceremony on Wednesday. The Adarsha Markaz Academy Laharighat under the auspices of Markaz-ul-Marif Hojai.
Today, as a part of the celebration competition was held at Adarsh Markaz Academy Laharighat. A large number of students participated in it. More than forty-two contestants were awarded in the competition. In addition to it, prizes were given to the students who obtained the highest marks in the previous semester examinations according to their classes. The competitions were organised by Markaz Academy Vice-Principal Anarul Islam, Assistant Teachers Maulana Ali Ullah Khan, Maulana Abul Khair and the teachers. The program was conducted by the Principal Maulana Baharul Islam and Secretary Tafazzul Islam.
The award ceremony and opening ceremony was held at 3.30 pm. The meeting was chaired by the President of the Management Committee, Maulana Isar Uddin Qasimi. The welcome ceremony was conducted by Assistant Teacher Aliullah Khan.
The event was attended by Maulana Abdul Mannan, retired science teacher Zainal Abddin, Laharighat Regional AMSU President Zahirul Islam, Tenguri Adarsh Markaz Academy Principal Mainul Islam, journalist Khairul Islam, Mashar Uddin Uddin and others The teacher Mufti Mojibur Rahman and the parents were also present in the event.
