In such a situation, the railway authorities have decided to put a fence on both sides of the journey of this high-speed train.
For which the estimated cost is Rs 264 crore.On Thursday night, a semi-high speed train from Mumbai to Gandhinagar hit a cow between Udvada and Vapi stations. Western Railway official Sunil Thakur said that due to the accident, there was a small crack in the front panel of the train. Ashok Kumar Mishra, general manager of The Western Railway, said in front of the western railway headquarters at Church Gate in Mumbai on Friday night, “Vande Bharat Express has a journey of 620 km. There will be a fence on both sides of it.

On November 8, a woman was run over by the Vande Bharat Express near Anand station, around 100 km from Gandhinagar station.Vande Bharat Express can run at a speed of 160 kmph in a little more than two minutes. According to western railway sources, the train is much more comfortable than other trains. But it has already been alleged that running this high-speed train in the populated areas is risky.
Questions have also been raised as to why the ‘modern train’, which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister after a huge expenditure and publicity, is facing repeated disasters in real circumstances. In such a situation, the railway authorities have decided to spend another Rs 264 crore to make vande Bharat ‘safe’.
