New Delhi:A class 5 student was allegedly paraded around with a garland of shoes by a hostel superintendent for allegedly stealing money. The incident took place late last week in Betul in Madhya Pradesh. As soon as the incident came to light, the district administration ordered an inquiry.There is a government hostel for adivasi girls in Damjipura village of Betul district. Such an incident has been alleged in the hostel.
Another student of the hostel was robbed of Rs 400. The fifth-grade student was suspected and a complaint was lodged with the hostel superintendent in this regard.It is alleged that the student was then called. His face was painted in front of other students. Not only that, the hostel super decorated him and put a garland of shoes on him. After this, he was rotated in the entire hostel.
The girl told her father about the incident. He then met District Magistrate Amarbir Singh and lodged a complaint against the superintendent. After receiving the complaint, the district magistrate ordered an inquiry into the incident.
