Iran’s young footballer sentenced to death for supporting anti-hijab movement

Tehran:Supported the anti-hijab movement. The 26-year-old Iranian footballer has been sentenced to death. After the news came out, the whole world was agitated. Protesters are also on the rise.

Amir Nasr-Azdani, a former footballer of iran’s national youth team, has realized that the consequences of declaring ‘jihad against God’ can be deadly. He has also played for Iran’s Premier League teams such as Rah-Ahan Tehran FC, Tractor SC, Gol-e-Ryan. But Amir faced the final punishment for supporting the ongoing anti-hijab protests in the country. The name of his crime is ‘Moharabeh’. In English, which means ‘Wedging War Before God’. That is, opposition to the government. And that’s why he was sentenced to death.

Amir is also accused of killing Colonel Cheragi and two Islamist security guards. Therefore, along with the announcement of his sentence, the trial will continue in this case as well. Moshen Shekario, 23, was previously sentenced to death for his involvement in the anti-hijab movement. Iranian police accused him of blocking the road. He also allegedly injured a paramilitary worker. This time Aamir is standing beside the women of the country and is facing punishment.

Iran is still in turmoil over the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini. He was arrested on the charge of policy police. It is alleged that he was beaten up while being picked up in a police van.
