New Delhi:Six people, including two children, were killed in a massive fire that broke out at a house in Venkatpur village in Telangana’s Mancherial district. The incident took place in Ramkrishnapur police station area on Friday midnight.
According to police sources, two days ago, her niece Monica, her two children and another relative had come to visit the house of a woman named Padma, a resident of Venkatpur village. At around 12:30 pm on Friday night, a local resident saw that Padma’s house was burning. He shouted and called the people around him. The police were also informed.
Police arrived at the scene. Firefighters were also brought in. But by then, the entire house had been burnt down. Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) of Mancherial district B Tirupati Reddy said, “Padma and her husband used to stay at home. Two days ago, Padma’s niece and her children came to visit the house. There was another relative with them. All of them died in a flash. ”
