Many renowned actors, artists have lost their lives in the third wave of Covid-19 in China

Beijing: Covid has taken an aggressive form and has taken a violent turn. Several renowned artists, actors, opera singers, film directors and writers have lost their lives amid the recent surge in BF7 cases in China. Several actors like Zhang Mu, Ren Jun, Chu Lanlan, Cheng Jinghua, Yu Yuheng, Xiong Yingzheng, Hou Menglan and Zhao Xiuan have lost their lives to Covid in mainland China.

Actor Zhang Moore, who played the role of Mao Zedong in the film, died of Covid-19. Zhang was a calligrapher and director of the China Opera and Dance Drama Theatre Opera team. Zhang was born in 1930 and at the age of 16 joined the CCP revolutionary forces in northeastern China. At the age of 21, he joined the CCP’s art troupe as an opera singer. Actor Song Baogung recently died of Covid in China.
