On the night of The New Year, Anjali was dragged for another 13 kilometers after being run over by the car. Anjali’s family alleged that the daughter of their house was sexually assaulted. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has ordered a high-level inquiry into Anjali’s death. A board of doctors at Maulana Azad Medical College conducted an autopsy on Anjali’s body. The post-mortem report was submitted to the police around 2 pm on Tuesday.
The post-mortem report revealed that Anjali’s head was missing. The skull cavity is also in an open state. According to Delhi Police sources, several places in Shirda have been damaged. The ribs of Anjali’s body are exposed from the back of the chest. According to the eight-page post-mortem report, Anjali’s entire body was covered in dust. Anjali’s body was stuck under the car for a long time.
As a result of driving the car for a few kilometers in that condition, burn marks were noticed on Anjali’s body. This type of burn scar is called a ‘brush burn’. As the car was moving, the burn marks were created by rubbing the skin of Anjali’s body along the road. 40 wounds were found all over the body. However, the post-mortem report revealed that she was not sexually assaulted in any way. The board of doctors said samples of the woman’s saliva and torn parts of her jeans have been collected for testing to confirm the matter. According to police sources, the investigation is still underway.
