BJP slams Kejriwal over Yamuna pollution

New Delhi:Like many other rivers in the country, the Yamuna river is now in the grip of pollution. At the same time, the BJP has criticised the Kejriwal government in Delhi for its failure to curb pollution in Yamuna.

The Delhi unit of the BJP said the Arvind Kejriwal government has failed on every front of governance and development. Aap has completely failed to clean up the Yamuna river, the lifeline of Delhi.

The BJP also said that while Chief Minister Kejriwal calls yamuna a sacred river, he has not done anything to make the river pollution-free in the last eight years. The BJP alleged that all concerned departments of the Delhi government, delhi jal board, irrigation department, have not taken steps to free them from pollutants in yamuna.
