Key decisions of the State Cabinet: Five shrines near the Brahmaputra in Guwahati included in Sagarmala

Guwahati:On Thursday, a meeting of the state cabinet was held under the chairmanship of the chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma at Janata Bhawan. Several important decisions were taken in this meeting. Important decisions were taken in the Cabinet especially in the field of education, energy etc. Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah informed the media about the cabinet decisions. As per the cabinet decision taken today, there are five shrines near the Brahmaputra in Guwahati, which is part of Sagarmala.

A class VIII pass will get the same status as the high school entrance examination if he takes technical education. Similarly, those who pass the high school examination will get the same status as higher secondary if they take technical education. There will also be special boards in the field of skill development. The Skill Development Board will be set up within two months. In two months, technical education will take a new shape.
