Mumbai:Urfi’s statement was recorded by the Mumbai Police on Saturday. Bharatiya Janata Party leader Chitra Wagh had filed an FIR against Urfi. A police officer said that after he was called for questioning, Javed went to Amboli police station to record his statement.
“This is how ancient Hindu women used to dress. Hindus were liberal, educated, women were allowed to choose their clothes, actively participated in sports, politics. They had a positive attitude towards gender and women’s bodies. Learn about Indian culture first,” Urfi Javed tweeted .
