New Delhi: The Delhi Police has prepared a 3,000-page draft charge sheet against Aftab Poonawala, accused of killing his aide Shraddha Walkar and breaking it into 35 pieces. According to sources, the charge sheet is now being examined by legal experts. After that, it will be submitted to the court.
According to sources, statements of more than 100 witnesses have been recorded in the chargesheet. Besides, electric and forensic samples have also been added to the draft charge sheet. According to Delhi Police sources, Aftab’s confession, his narco test results and forensic examination report have been added to the charge sheet.
Aftab is accused of killing his partner Shraddha on May 18. To destroy the evidence, the body was cut into 35 pieces and kept in the fridge of the house. After that, he used to conveniently spread the pieces of the body of the companion of the one-year-old in the forest of Mehrauli.
