BCCI earns a total of Rs 4669.99 crore in women’s Premier League auction!

New Delhi:Record created in the history of Indian cricket. The BCCI has managed to set a record in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) auction this time by earning Rs 4669.99 crore in total bids. The amount of this money has broken the 2008 men’s IPL record.


The BCCI on Wednesday earned Rs 4669.99 crore for the auction of five teams in the Women’s Premier League (WPL). Adani Sportsline bought the most expensive franchise for Rs 1289 crore this afternoon. Adani Sportsline will be the owner of the Ahmedabad franchise. Mumbai Indians (MI), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) of the current men’s IPL team have also managed to make room for themselves in the successful event of Rs 912.99 crore, Rs 901 crore and Rs 810 crore respectively. At the same time there has been a renewed entry into the WPL of Capri Global Holdings.
