Taliban ban: Afghan girls won’t be able to appear for university entrance exams

Kabul: This time in the anarchic country of Afghanistan, the Taliban has again issued a new fatwa against women’s education. The Taliban administration in Afghanistan has banned girl students from the country from appearing for the university entrance examination.

The university entrance examination was scheduled to be held in February. In December, the Taliban had instructed all young girls and women not to attend colleges and universities until further notice. Such a ban was imposed.The Ministry of Education of the Taliban Administration has issued a notice to the universities stating that girls cannot apply for the entrance examination till further notice.
