New Delhi:10,000 Bio input resource centres will be set up in the country. A national level distributed fertilizer and pesticide manufacturing network will be created at the centre.
In his Budget speech today, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Union Government has always emphasized on the issue of promotion of organic or natural agriculture in the country to increase the quality of crops and other agricultural products and the Government has made special provisions on this issue in the Budget 2023-24.
Taking care of the promotion of organic farming in the country, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced in her address to the Union Budget 2023 that in the next three years, one crore farmers will get support from the government for organic farming.
