Elections ahead, Finance Minister Sitharaman’s special attention to government employees with tax exemption

New Delhi: Keeping in mind the Lok Sabha elections ahead, perhaps in this year’s budget, Nirmala Sitharaman has given special concessions to government employees. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today announced a special relief to the income tax payers of the country.

He hopes that crores of employees in the country will get relief due to the announcement of tax exemption. In a word the employees getting a monthly salary of up to Rs 50,000 will no longer have to pay income tax. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has been able to satisfy the employees by giving income tax exemption for salaried people.
