SAFF Cup: India women’s football team scored 12 goals to Bhutan

New Delhi:After India’s Shefali Verma’s team shone in the U-19 T20 World Cup, this time the country’s women’s team shines in the field of football. In a word, along with cricket, Indian girls have also been able to dominate football. India’s girls’ team scored 12 goals against Bhutan in the Under-20 SAFF Cup on Friday.

India defeated Bhutan 12-0 in the first match of the tournament held in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Three Indian footballers scored hat-tricks. Being the first game India started playing cautiously from the very beginning. Aparna Narzary scored the first goal for the team in the 29th minute of the match.
