MP’S FUND: There is a face to face confrontation between Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma And MP Ajit Kumar Bhuyan

Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said this in context of Ajit Kumar Bhuyan”s MP funds misuse . Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma’s remarks came after MP Ajit Kumar Bhuyan criticised the chief minister after he launched an inquiry into the matter. There are many allegations of rampant corruption in MP funds in Hajo and Rangiya .

Chief minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma has made it clear that law is no different for Himanta Biswa Sarma or Ajit Kumar Bhuyan. There is nothing to fear about it. On the other hand, MP Ajit Kumar Bhuyan questioned the income of the chief minister and his family and challenged him to take part in open debate. It may be recalled that in places like Hajo, Rangia, there were allegations of rampant corruption in road development contracts with the funds of Ajit Kumar Bhuyan’s MPLAD fund. The MP has targeted the chief minister while strong reactions among the people are prevailing.People said that the real truth will come to light only at the end of the investigation.
