Three back-to-back earthquakes near the Syrian border

New Delhi:Three back-to-back earthquakes near the Syrian border in the southern tip of Turkey yesterday have virtually devastated the region. The intensity of the tremor was similar on the Richter scale of 7.8, 7.6 and 6.0.

This morning, the ground shook again. Its intensity was 5.6 on the Richter scale. Apart from this, several other small earthquakes have been felt in the region.
