Dhaka:Shahabuddin Chuppu is the new President of Bangladesh. He is known as ‘Chuppubhai’ in the political circles. On Sunday morning, the Bangladesh government announced Shahabuddin’s name as the new President. Shahabuddin is the 22nd President of Bangladesh.
Former freedom fighter and veteran politician Shahabuddin is currently holding an important position in the ruling Awami League of Bangladesh. He is also a former judge. At one time, he also served as the acting chairman of the ACC. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has nominated Shahabuddin as the new President of Bangladesh.
