New Delhi:One of the world’s endangered animals is a snow-dwelling tiger. Such tigers are found only in very small quantities in India. Recently, a snow leopard has been seen in darma valley in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand for the first time.
This has made nature lovers happy. Mohan Dagar, DFO, Pithoragarh, says a team of explorers spotted one of the tiger species in the snowy terrain above Dar village on February 6 in search of animals in the very high reaches of the Himalayas.
