Who is more popular as prime minister – Indira Gandhi or Narendra Modi? What does the C-voter survey say?
New Delhi: Is Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi more popular than the past Prime Ministers of the country? This question has now arisen in the minds of many. Recently C-voters conducted a survey to find out who is the most popular Prime Minister of India.
The survey draws a comparison between former Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Manmohan Singh and Narendra Modi under the heading “Who is the best Prime Minister of independent India”. The C-voter survey has received the highest response in terms of names of the three Prime Ministers. They are Narendra Modi, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Indira Gandhi.
Notably, Modi is the ‘best Prime Minister’ of independent India so far, according to a recent C-voter survey. Around 47 per cent of the participants in the survey referred to Narendra Modi as “the best Prime Minister of independent India so far”.
