India’s women lose to England in T20 World Cup

New Delhi:Despite a desperate fight, India’s girls lost to the mighty England in a very important match of the T20 World Cup. Harmanpreet’s hopes of finishing at the top of their group by losing a tight match are virtually over.

India captain Harmanpreet Singh won the toss and elected to field first against England on Saturday. His decision was proved right by the Indian pacers. India easily picked up england’s first three wickets. But then Natalie Sciver Brandt turned around. He scored an unbeaten 50 off 42 balls. In the end, Amy Jones scored 40 runs off 27 balls. England scored 151 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs in these two innings.India lost the game by 11 runs.
