Guwahati:The 11 men and women teams from Assam have won 17 gold medals in both the disciplines under the banner of the National Master’s Games, which were held in Baranasi, under the initiative of the Master Games Federation.The team has won 9 silver and 7 bronze medals.
All the members of the team were in the game – Mintu Kumar Bhagwati, Kache Terangpi, Dr. Jaquilline Terangpi, Melody Katharpi, Zubina Beyp, Epril Beypi, Champari Terangpi, Thong Teran, Gyan Ranjan Vara, Sanjay Majumdar and Sandwip Chakraborty.The team joined from 35 kg to 60 kg weight event.
