New Delhi:Rahul Gandhi also shared an anecdote of his childhood in his speech. He said that when he was seven years old, his mother first told him that he had no house.On the last day of the 85th Congress plenary (February 26), Rahul Gandhi addressed party leaders and workers. During this, Rahul Gandhi talked about the four-month ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. Rahul Gandhi also said in his address that it has been 52 years and till date he does not have a house.
“It’s been 52 years, I don’t have a house, i don’t have a house till date… Our family’s house is in Allahabad and that too is not our home. It’s very strange for me to have a house.
Relationship. Where I live is not home for me, so when I left Kanyakumari, I asked myself what my responsibility was. I have set out to understand India. Thousands and millions of people are running, what is my responsibility?”
“After thinking a lot, the idea came to my mind and I told the people of my office that there are thousands of people walking here, there will be pushing, people will get hurt, then we have to do one thing… On my side and 20-25 feet ahead, people from India will come to meet us in an empty space, this is our home for the next four months. This house will run with us from morning to evening.
Rahul Gandhi also shared the story of his childhood in the address. “When I was seven years old, one day in 1977, my mother told me that we were leaving home. Mother told us for the first time that this is not our home. I asked him where to go and said, “I don’t know.”
