DIPR Director Vishnu Kamal Bora retired , Newly appointed DIPR Director Manabendra Deb Roy takes charge
Guwahati: The current director of information and public relations Vishnu Kamal Bora retired today and the newly appointed director Manabendra Deb Roy took charge on the same day.
A meeting was held at the DIPR directorate’s auditorium to mark the retirement of the outgoing director. Chaired by Pradeep Brahma, Additional Director, Public Relations, the outgoing Director was formally greeted with a citation, gamosa, sharai, kahi-bati and public relations memento. Addressing the meeting, several officers and employees mentioned the experience of working with the outgoing Director, his dutifulness, efficiency, good leadership and other qualities.
Vishnu Kamal Bora, who has a long-standing administrative experience, held the initiative of public relations during his tenure as director. The speakers gratefully mentioned his role and contribution in the success of several events. The officials who addressed the meeting also said that the guidance received from Vishnu Kamal Bara have benefited them in various ways in their work life. Speaking at the meeting, outgoing Director of Public Relations Vishnu Kamal Bora highlighted the various experiences of his career and expressed his heartfelt reference to the cooperation he has received from all as a director of public relations. He called upon the officers and employees working in public relations to contribute to the reputation of public relations by performing their duties with dedication and responsibility in the future as well.
Addressing the meeting the newly appointed Director Manabendra Deb Roy gave a welcome hand to the outgoing Director. He hoped that in the coming days all the officers and employees of information and public relations would continue to perform the departmental duties with the same dedication and responsibility. Today’s meeting was addressed by Information and Public Relations Secretary Umanand Dal and Secretary, Department of Transformation and Development Dibyajyoti Barkatki and recalled the experience of working together with Bishnu Kamal Bora and various experiences of long standing good relations. The two speakers wished vishnu kamal bara a long happy life. Deepali Bhuyan, an employee of the Directorate of Public Relations, also retired today. He was also greeted at the same meeting. Several officers and employees in their speeches at the meeting lauded the qualities of Deepali Bhuyan’s impeccable personality and dutifulness.
