Minister Pijush Hazarika Elected As The President Of the Assam Table Tennis Association for the second time

Guwahati: Minister for Water Resources, Information and Public Relations, Government of Assam, Pijush Hazarika today elected to serve as the president of The Assam Table Tennis Association for the second time. At the annual general meeting of the Assam Table Tennis Association held in Guwahati today, minister Hazarika was unanimously elected in the presence of state members of the association as well as the office bearers and representatives of the district association. He was elected president of the association for the second time. Minister Hazarika expressed gratitude to all for holding the post of president and hoped that with the cooperation of all the members of the association, the field of table tennis in the state would be able to take the field of table tennis in the state to the top level in the coming days.

It may be recalled that the last executive meeting of the earlier committee was also held today under the chairmanship of minister Pijush Hazarika before the formation of the new committee. During this meeting, Minister Hazarika is a table tennis worker in the state. Emphasis was laid on setting up and activating district committees of table tennis associations in all districts to promote and create a conducive environment for table tennis matches at the district level.
