New Delhi: Two indian cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar and Mahendra Singh Dhoni have been duped of lakhs of rupees by making credit cards in their names on the basis of fake documents. In fact, the matter came to light when the Cyber Cell Police of East Delhi busted a gang of 5 such fraudsters.
The gang of fraudsters obtained credit cards from the bank after making fake Aadhaar cards and PAN cards in the name of 95 famous celebrities including Abhishek Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, including Sachin and Dhoni. After this, these thugs duped them of at least Rs 50 lakh and also spoiled their CIBIL score.
The matter came to light when Prem Shekhawat, a person working with a Pune-based credit card company, complained about it and said that some people have made credit cards in the name of Sachin Tendulkar, Aishwarya Rai and others on the basis of fake documents.
