New Delhi:The red palash on the tree means that spring has arrived. In Purulia, part of Bankura, the whole area became red in Palash. However, there are other colours beyond the red palash we are used to seeing. One of them is the white palash. And with that white palash, there is a lot of hue and cry in Purulia.
Many people say that this white glass is absolutely rare. I can’t see anything special. The white palash tree was found in a village in Purulia’s Huda. At first, no one in the locals knew about it. Even the one who owns the tree on his land was not aware of it. Meanwhile, the lease price of that rare white palash tree has risen to about Tk 80 lakh. A resident of Kolkata told the tree owner that he would pay the price. Collected symbolic images
Tourists are now going to the village of Purulia to see that white glass. The horticulture department has also started investigating the matter. Efforts are being made to keep the tree alive. Initiatives are also being taken so that saplings can be made from this tree. Because in Purulia, there are usually palash trees naturally. A fine of Tk 10,000 has been imposed for damaging pulses or flowers so that no one can harm the trees. Photos collected
