New Delhi:On the occasion of Holi, a video from Delhi became increasingly viral on social media. In this video, some youths were seen molesting a Japanese woman on the pretext of playing Holi in Delhi’s Paharganj. Eggs were boiled on the woman’s head. The information about this incident was tweeted by the woman herself, whose video became very viral on social media and people demanded action.
Although no complaint was lodged in this regard, the Delhi Police is now in action.
According to reports, the Delhi Police has arrested three youths for misbehaving with the woman. Three persons, including a minor, have been apprehended and questioned, police said. He has confessed to his involvement in the incident as can be seen in the video. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Sanjay Kumar Sen said all of them are residents of Paharganj area.
