Surekha Yadav, the first female locomotive pilot from the Asian , operates the Vande Bharat Express

New Delhi:Not only in India but in Asia it has become the first female train driver.That Surekha Yadav has once again grabbed the headlines through her work. Surekha Yadav, asia’s first female lock pilot, has now become the first woman to operate the semi-high speed Vande Bharat Express train.

According to a press release by the Union Ministry of Railways, Yadav is running the semi-high speed Vande Bharat Express train running between Solapur station in Mumbai and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.
