New Delhi:Where is the Khalistani leader’s Amritpal Singh? The police are yet to answer this question. Meanwhile, the Punjab Police on Tuesday shut down a drug-de-addiction centre run by Amritpal Singh, the fugitive head of ‘Waris Punjab Dey’ in Amritsar district of the state.
The centre was being run at Jallupur Khera in Amritsar. Gurmukh Singh, caretaker of the centre, said, “The police station reached the centre and conducted searches. They asked us to close the centre. Seventy people who came to seek treatment have been sent back. The caretaker claimed that the police had not found anything at the centre. Only drug-free treatment was being done at the centre.
