New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi’s dismissal as a Lok Sabha MP today has rocked the country’s politics. The removal of one of the Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi’s post as MP has evoked sharp reactions in the opposition camp.
Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on Friday termed the removal of Rahul Gandhi from Parliament as a “murder of democracy”. According to Thackeray, “calling a thief a thief” has also become a crime in this country. He also said that this is the beginning of the end of dictatorship. “Rahul Gandhi’s membership of Parliament has finally been cancelled. Calling thieves a thief has become a crime in our country. The thieves who looted the country are still free and Rahul Gandhi has been punished. This is a direct attempt to kill democracy.”
