Case filed in Supreme Court over validity of Section 8(3) of the Representation of the People Act

New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi has been dismissed as an MP under Section 8(3) of the Representation of the People Act following a Gujarat court’s verdict. This time the case has been filed in the Supreme Court questioning the constitutional validity of that section.

The case was filed by social activist Abha Muraleedharan. Meanwhile, in the midst of political turmoil, Rahul claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was scared of his speech on the Adani issue. From lying in his name in Parliament to being dismissed as an MP, it is just an attempt to silence him on the Adani issue.
