New Delhi: The Election Commission has officially announced the dates for the Karnataka Assembly elections today. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said the karnataka assembly elections will be held on May 10. The counting of votes in the state is scheduled for May 13. The number of assembly seats in the state is 224. The country’s Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said that elections in Karnataka will be held in a single phase.
According to election commission data, the total number of voters in Karnataka this time is 5.21 crore. Similarly, this time Karnataka has seen an increase of 9.17 lakh new voters. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said those who turn 18 on April 1 will also be able to vote in the Karnataka Assembly elections.
