Scientists have been of the opinion that many cities in the world will not be eligible for the melting of polar ice by 2050. The risk of many cities getting absorbed under water has increased due to melting of polar ice. Scientists have revealed that due to the melting of polar ice, the sea water level is rising gradually. In such a situation, many cities are in danger of being submerged under the sea.
The point to be noted is that the direct impact of global warming is now seen on the two poles of the earth, now known as ice reserves. Temperatures in many regions of the North Pole and South Pole have been shown to rise to the limit required due to the melting of snow. As a result, a massive melting of ice has started on both poles. The unprecedented temperatures at the two poles have upset scientists around the world.
