New Delhi:At least 36 devotees were killed after the roof of the temple collapsed and fell into a well. After this incident, a part of the temple was demolished by the local administration with a bulldozer. On Monday morning, the Indore Municipal Corporation demolished the illegal constructions of the temple in the presence of a large police force. After the ram navami accident, the chief priest had raised questions about the construction of the temple.
A large number of people throng the famous Beleshwar Mahadev Jhulelal temple in Indore on the occasion of Ram Navami. There is an ancient well inside the temple. But later a roof was built over the well. Many were standing on that roof. The roof collapsed under the pressure of the crowd. Immediately, many fans drowned in the well. 36 people died.
