New Delhi: The incident of a congress MLA from the ruling Congress in Chhattisgarh publicly slapping two employees of a district cooperative bank in Balrampur-Ramanujganj district in a power-ridden manner has now evoked strong reactions. CCTV cameras of the bank have been captured all over the incident. The video has gone viral on social media.
However Employees of cooperative banks have announced a two-day strike from Thursday if no action is taken against Ramanujganj MLA Brihaspati Singh. MLA Singh alleged that the bank employees were misappropriating funds earmarked by the government to distribute paddy for procurement in the name of farmers.
